IPL: before & after 4 treatments
These are more before and after images from another one of our lovely IPL patients who was referred to us. Intense Pulsed Light therapy is one of our most popular and effective treatments at the Institute. We use the most advanced IPL model on the market, the Lumenis M22, to deliver dramatically younger-looking skin by treating irregular pigmentation, age spots, redness, broken blood vessels and large pores, along with other dermatological issues.
Our patient here very kindly allowed us to share her results and treatment plan, which we’ve outlined below:
Patient age: 51
Concern: Rosacea and photodamage.
Treatment : 4 x IPL sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, along with starting a Vitamin A cream (Tretinoin).
Results: Redness is greatly reduced or completely cleared; sun damage on cheeks is imperceptible with a more even tone and complexion overall. Skin is rejuvenated and glowing.
Plan : Advised maintenance treatment every 6-12 months. Continued use of zinc based SPF every day, EltaMD SPF 50 in this case, along with EltaMD PM moisturiser.
