
Dr Genevieve Kelly
Dr Genevieve Kelly is a Consultant Dermatologist on the Specialist Register for Dermatology in Ireland. Dr Kelly graduated with honours from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2000. She initially trained as a GP, obtaining her MRCGP with distinction in 2007, and worked in primary care until 2011. She then undertook Dermatology training in Ireland and completed Higher Specialist Training in Dermatology through the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and was awarded her CSCST in 2022.
Dr Kelly undertook clinical and laboratory research in the Education and Research Centre, St Vincent’s University Hospital Dublin, from 2012 to 2014 and obtained a Medical Doctorate (MD) in relation to her research into Hidradenitis Suppurativa, which was awarded in 2016 by University
College Dublin. She was presented with the Burrows cup for her research by the Irish Association of Dermatologists in 2013 and again in 2014. In 2022 she began working as a Consultant Dermatologist in Tallaght University Hospital. She now works as a Consultant Dermatologist in the Blackrock Clinic and in the Institute of Dermatologists.
Her general medical Dermatology interests include treatment of acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, connective tissue disease, disorders of pigmentation, melanoma
and non-melanoma skin cancer. Dr Kelly also offers cosmetic treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, treatments for acne scarring, volume loss and photo-aging.
