Exosomes are tiny, naturally occurring particles released by cells in the body. They play an important role in cell-to-cell communication and can carry proteins, lipids, and genetic material between cells. In medical and cosmetic treatments, exosomes derived from specific sources are sometimes used to promote healing, reduce inflammation, and stimulate tissue regeneration. Exosomes are ideal for aging skin and help to regenerate the skin and aid in skin barrier reconstruction. Exosomes help your skin by increasing collagen formation, elastin formation and reducing melanin formation. The use of exosomes is supported by numerous clinical studies. This treatment is suitable for all skin types. We typically recommend a course of 3-6 sessions to see optimal results depending on which treatment the  exosomes are combined with. Your practitioner will give you a plan individually to your skin concerns and needs. However more sessions may be recommended, depending on different skin parameters, such as age, baseline skin condition and damage from smoking, UV exposure, genetics and others. A maintenance treatment is advised twice per year.

Exosomes are used as an add on to the following treatments, microneedling, radiofrequency microneedling and C02. The exosome gel is applied to the skin and used as a glide for our microneedling devices. When we carry out our C02 we apply this gel immediately after treatment. The exosomes enter through tiny micro wounds in the skin and target the mid dermis. Normally patients will feel a sensation of warmth or prickling sensations depending on which treatment we do. This treatment can be used for multiple areas in the face or body.   Improvement is dependent on skin conditions, the extent of wrinkles and scarring, smoking and alcohol consumption. Immediately after the treatment there may be  redness of the skin, which is dependent on the you have had.
