Consultant Procedures

All of our anti-wrinkle and dermal filler injections are administered by Consultant Dermatologists only.

Anti Wrinkle Injections:

One of the most immediately effective cosmetic procedures to counteract the signs of ageing is antiwrinkle injections with Botulinum toxin. Anti-wrinkle injections temporarily relax muscles, which can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines and help to elevate the brow, open the eyes, reduce the pull of the neck bands on the jawline, reduce cobblestoning of the chin . Effective, well-placed injections should be subtle and leave a patient looking fresher and more relaxed.

Most patients see results within a few days of treatment, but the full effect typically becomes apparent after about two weeks. The effects are temporary and typically last for 3 to 6 months, depending on the individual's response to the treatment and the area treated. Over time, muscle action gradually returns, and the treated wrinkles and lines begin to reappear, necessitating repeat treatments to maintain the desired effect.

Anti-wrinkle injections can also be used to treat grinding of the teeth (bruxism).

Anti-wrinkle injections are also available for the treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), with effects lasting in excess of 6-9 months.

Dermal Fillers:

As we age, our faces naturally lose subcutaneous fat and other tissues, leading to hollowing of the cheeks and temples, sagging skin, and more apparent expression and smile lines. Hyaluronic acid fillers can improve age-related changes by augmenting cheeks, adding volume to lift the sagging jawline, improving deep creases, plumping thin lips, and filling out depressions under the eye area. Collagen-stimulating dermal fillers such as Sculptra, HarmonyCA and Radiesse are used to help tighten lax skin while improving volume. Sculptra® are used to address various areas of concern. Radiesse is used for hand rejuvenation to restore volume and correct visible tendons and veins, providing natural-looking results.
