Even Tone Correcting Serum is a lightweight serum from Skinbetter Science for brown patches, sun spots and uneven, dull looking skin. Its patented b.r.y.t. Technology combines several brightening ingredients to target the appearance of brown patches, redness and yellow tones, without hydroquinone or retinol.

Why pigmentation needs a steady approach
Pigmentation forms when the skin produces extra melanin in response to sun, heat, hormones or inflammation. It builds up over years, so it takes consistent use to see it fade, and daily sun protection to stop it coming back.
In Ireland, hydroquinone is prescription only. Even Tone uses a combination of alternative brightening ingredients that can be used every day.
What the evidence shows
In a dermatologist led clinical trial, 52 patients with mild to severe discolouration applied the serum twice daily for 12 weeks. Patients across skin types I to V took part. Skinbetter Science also reports enhanced results when it is used alongside AlphaRet Overnight Cream, with good tolerability.
How to use
- Cleanse and pat skin dry.
- Apply a thin layer to the face, neck and chest. It can be used all over the face, not just on dark patches.
- Follow with moisturiser, and SPF in the morning.
