A clarifying shampoo for scalps and beards that flake, itch and clog

CLn Shampoo is a fragrance free shampoo for normal to oily scalps and beards prone to dandruff, folliculitis, seborrhoeic dermatitis and scalp psoriasis. It combines sodium hypochlorite, a compound with a long history of use in dermatology, with salicylic acid, which loosens flakes and clears oil and dead skin from around the follicles. Suitable for all hair types and from six months of age.

  • For scalps and beards prone to dandruff and flaking
  • For folliculitis, the small red bumps around hair follicles
  • For itchy scalps linked to seborrhoeic dermatitis and scalp psoriasis
  • Fragrance free and suitable for all hair types

Why it matters

Flakes are rarely about dryness alone. On an oily scalp, a build up of oil and dead skin cells around the follicles is often what keeps the cycle going. Professor Nicola Ralph explains that for people with very oily hair, or who exercise often, regular washing can be good for the scalp, as skipping washes can lead to excess oil, clogged follicles and dandruff.

The key is to cleanse properly, gently. Scrubbing hard can make an irritated scalp worse, so let the shampoo do the work.

Who it is for

  • Anyone with an oily, flaky or itchy scalp
  • Beards that flake or get red bumps
  • Close shaved heads, where bumps and flaking are easy to see
  • Chemically relaxed and textured hair

Not the best choice for a very dry scalp.

How to use

  1. Wet hair, scalp or beard.
  2. Massage a small amount gently into the scalp or beard for 30 seconds.
  3. Rinse thoroughly.

Use one to three times a week, or as directed. Can be followed with any conditioner.

What makes it different

  • Sodium hypochlorite: a well studied compound in dermatology, used here in a gentle, rinse off formula.
  • Salicylic acid: a beta hydroxy acid that loosens flakes and helps keep follicles clear.
  • Glycerin: helps stop the scalp feeling tight or stripped after washing.
  • Clean formula: fragrance free, with no steroids or antibiotics.

Finally Found Relief for My Itchy Scalp

I’ve struggled with an itchy scalp for a long time and tried so many different shampoos, including medicated ones, with mixed results. Nothing really worked properly—until I found this one.
From the very first use, I could already feel a difference. The itching reduced significantly, which honestly surprised me. After a few uses, my scalp felt much calmer and healthier.
What I love even more is that it doesn’t feel like a typical medicated shampoo. Instead of leaving my hair dry or dull, it actually made my hair look shiny and healthy.
This is the first shampoo that truly worked for both my scalp and my hair. I’ll definitely keep using it.

Best to calm my scalp

I have used this before and can recommend if you suffer with folliculitis, I bought a different brand for my folliculitis because it was cheaper but this never helped my scalp. So I purchased two bottles and used it today. Can highly recommend this product
