Scarban Light Silicone Sheets 5x7.5cm
Scarban silicone sheets are a proven technology for treating scars (hypertrophic and keloid) and preventing abnormal scar development after surgery or an accident. The medical silicone sheet is self-adhesive (with the exception of the silicone sheets glove and finger), washable and can be used for a long period of time.
Scarban Light Silicone Sheets are thinner and more flexible, making it suitable for areas where a thick silicone layer might feel too intense or where the skin needs more flexibility, such as on the elbow or for sensitive skin. In addition, it offer at least 93% protection against harmful UV radiation.
What It Does
Medical-grade silicone sheeting creates a sustained occlusive microenvironment over scar tissue. This helps to soften, flatten and reduce the redness of raised scars over time. With consistent daily use, scars may become less noticeable, more supple, and reduced in thickness. The integrated UV filter provides at least 93% protection against harmful UV radiation, which is particularly important for scar tissue that is more susceptible to pigmentation changes following sun exposure.
What Makes Scarban Light Different
- Thinner and more flexible than standard Scarban silicone sheets
- Designed for areas of movement such as elbows, knees and joints
- Suitable for sensitive skin where a thicker sheet may feel uncomfortable
- Self-adhesive and reusable for an extended period
- Washable with the included soap for daily hygiene
- Can be trimmed to fit the scar, with a recommended 1cm margin around the scar edge
- At least 93% UV protection integrated into the silicone
How to Use
For best results, follow this regime twice daily (morning and evening) for a minimum of 6 weeks, or for as long as the appearance of the scar continues to improve. Wear your Scarban sheet for at least 12 hours per day.
Step 1: Apply ALHYDRAN cream and massage into the skin for 30 seconds. ALHYDRAN is a powerful hydrating cream that partly penetrates the skin, improving it from both the outside and inside. It contains fresh Aloe Vera Gel and a blend of high-quality ingredients to support skin recovery and long-lasting hydration.
Step 2: Clean the skin if any residue remains. If fully absorbed, proceed immediately to Step 3.
Step 3: Apply the Scarban Light sheet directly over the scar. The sheet can be trimmed to size if needed, leaving a 1cm margin around the scar edge.
