A pillow that helps you sleep on your back, so your face is not pressed into the pillow every night
Most people spend a third of their life asleep, and most of that time lying on their side or front with their face pressed against a pillow. The Aula pillow is designed to help you train yourself to sleep on your back. Raised side bolsters stop your head rolling to the side, and a contoured neck bolster supports your head and neck in a comfortable position.
Expression lines come from movement, like frowning or smiling. Sleep lines are different. They form when the face is pressed and folded against a pillow, night after night, usually on the side you favour. In younger skin they fade by the morning. As skin loses collagen and elasticity with age, they take longer to fade.
Sleeping on your back takes that pressure off the face, cheeks and neck. It is one of the few things that works quietly while you sleep, alongside a good night routine.
If you have slept on your side for years, back sleeping will feel unusual at first. Give it a couple of weeks. Start with the foam insert in or out, whichever feels more natural, and adjust as you go.
A pillow cannot treat wrinkles. What it can do is reduce the nightly pressure and folding that contributes to sleep lines, by helping you stay on your back.
It is designed for side sleepers who want to switch. Most people need a few weeks to adjust.
Yes. Use or remove the foam insert to suit you.
Tencel is a smooth, breathable fibre made from eucalyptus. It is soft on skin and hair and easy to care for.
This has been amazing for me. Not sleeping on my face for the first time in my life but has also helped my shoulder tension!
I have my pillow over 4weeks now and I'm still adjusting to sleeping on my back; so it definitely takes time. Big problem is that I'm not sure if I'm now snoring which isn't good! On the positive side there is less creasing /puffiness on waking but as I'm still using a regular pillow at times during rhe night, I suppose I won't see the best results.
