Materials and construction

The sheet is made from 100% medical-grade silicone. It is elastic, self-adhesive, washable, reusable, and rated UPF 50. The pre-shaped design follows the contour of the lower abdomen and is suitable for all skin types.

Use and suitability

Scarban C-Section scar sheets are intended for people managing a caesarean scar after the wound is fully closed, stitches have been removed, and scabs have healed completely. The pre-shaped format is intended for the lower-abdomen scar location, while the elastic construction allows the sheet to maintain contact with the scar site.

The sheet should be applied to clean, non-greasy, completely dry skin and worn for a minimum of 12 consecutive hours each day. It is suitable for daily use and can be cleaned during a regular shower before drying and reapplying. Greasy creams and oils should not be used on the skin before application because they reduce adhesion. The scar should be protected from direct sun exposure.
